The Director of Human Resources will lead MHW’s hiring efforts, build and execute human capital strategy, refine processes, own HR administration & compliance, and partner with the CEO and key stakeholders to deliver the results behind a talented team. The right candidate is proactive, willing to roll up their sleeves, and draws on extensive experience in the fields of talent acquisition, human capital management, and HR administration to create a diverse talent pipeline that becomes and remains valuable members of the MHW team.

In this role you will:
- Partner with executive leadership to deliver best-in-class results for the organization in hiring, retention, employee support, HR administration, and benefits management
- Have responsibility for the strategy, design, development, and delivery of the talent management lifecycle, including selection process strategy, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, development assessment, reorganization consulting and knowledge transfer
- Proactively identifies and manages all department activities regarding the ongoing design and enhancement of current human capital systems to ensure continued effectiveness in meeting the changing needs of the business from a process and data perspective
- Oversee the daily workflow of HR administration, compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, and employee onboarding and offboarding
- Lead hiring manager initiatives to optimize onboarding and training strategy as our team expands
- Be an advocate for our company culture and drive employee relations through collecting and addressing employee feedback, promoting a culture of open communication and teamwork, and implementing and monitoring a best-in-class employee performance review program
Background and Experience Required:
- 5+ years’ experience in human resource management experience including experience with employee engagement, performance management, talent acquisition, benefits administration and career development
- A history of using data and KPIs to identify opportunities and drive business results
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize competing priorities, collaborate across the organization, and resolve challenges
- Experience working across human resource information systems and talent management systems (ADP a plus) and highly capable in Microsoft Office applications
- Working knowledge of and ability to advise on employment law
- Bachelor's degree required, Masters or higher preferred
